All you have to do is get a guest list, have a lovely meal and preferable get everyone to chip in to pay for the special birthday guest.
How about also arranging a great activity for everyone to get involved in. If you know what sort of things they will enjoy you can plan a great day out where you can get involved in some fun activities. Of course, this will cost you and the party a certain amount of money depending on what you do, but if you have that cash then the sky is the limit.
In much the same way a day out to another city nearby to where you live is also a top idea. Again you can spend the day doing whatever you wish and can go shopping or see a show and then go out for some food.
Now everything that you do will, as mentioned, come down to how much everyone who is going to the birthday is willing to spend. It also comes down to how much you are willing to contribute yourself if you are the one planning the birthday celebrations. If you have loads of money and are willing to splash out for a special occasion then taking a trip abroad for the weekend is a superb option. If you have the money, you can pay for everyone and they will certainly all love you for it!
This is unlikely, of course, and the chances are you will have more of a tight budget to work with. When all is said and done, however, it all comes down to the thought you put in. As long as you plan something well, it doesn't matter how much you spend, as you will be sure to have a great time whatever you are doing.
